L'Escala and the Mediterranean Sea when the Tramontana blows

In this small village in Catalonia a female author was born whose name was Caterina Albert.
She lived from 1873 until 1966 and published under the name Víctor Català
as in those days a woman was not supposed to write.
Her novel 'Solitud' is one of the most important works in Catalan literature.
She was a loner and a genius. In L'Escala a museum is made in the house
where she lived.
